Born in Durban, South Africa, Dr Kunal Nathoo moved to Australia at the tender age of 18 to begin his tertiary education, completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne. He then obtained his Bachelor of Dentistry in 2008 at the University of Sydney.
Dr Nathoo enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and focuses on a holistic approach to patient care that takes prevention and minimal intervention into consideration. Understanding that dentistry can often be a source of anxiety which can lead to dental neglect, Dr Nathoo employs a gentle approach with a compassionate nature. His aim is to make sure your dental experience is as comfortable and pain free as possible. To this end he provides sleep dentistry services for those patients who are particularly anxious and dental phobic. He has practiced in the Point Cook area for the past two years, and appreciates the sense of community the area has to offer.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Nathoo enjoys spending weekends with his wife and his two children, exploring kid friendly activities and cafés around Melbourne. He is also a keen cyclist who enjoys an early morning ride and latte on the many scenic routes Melbourne has to offer.
